I have to say how hard this selection was. As well as having to turn away some very good players, it was also not fun at all to choose between friends. While we're pleased that Team Box appears to be such a popular team, we're sad at the necessity of choosing some over others for tournaments. Last year, we were saved having to do any cuts as we were just a new team starting out. We luckily hit on a wonderful balance of players which meant successful results and great fun along the way. I hope that a similar vibe can be recreated this season at training and tournaments.

We've been frantically sorting through options for those not listed on the nationals squad to still play nationals and hopefully regionals as well. Needless to say, if you can't train with the team you go to nationals with due to that team being interstate, you are always welcome to attend Team Box training. We had hoped to have some more definite options sorted by the time this email got sent, but we're waiting for word from others and it's out of our hands for the time being.

Also, if you simply enjoy training and hanging out with Team Box and decide not to attend tournaments this year, come along to training as well. It's been great to see everyone so far.
